🛡️ The Short Version
- You sign in with Google. We keep only your Google account ID, email address (never shown to anyone), name, and profile picture.
- Everyone watches on their own streaming accounts. The extension synchronizes play, pause, and seek between you. It never copies, records, or re-streams the video.
- Text chat is stored securely on our server for 7 days, then deleted automatically.
- Voice and camera go directly between participants via peer-to-peer WebRTC mesh. Our server only passes the initial connection handshake. Nothing is recorded.
- No ads, no third-party trackers, no selling of your data.
1. Information We Collect and Why
When you authenticate via Google Sign-In with scopes openid, email, and profile, our servers store:

2. Permissions Justification
- sidePanel: The entire interface resides exclusively in Chrome's native side panel so no UI elements or controls obscure your streaming video playback.

identity: Used solely for Google authentication via
chrome.identity.launchWebAuthFlow. - storage: Keeps your session and audio/video device preferences in local browser storage so you remain signed in when reopening the side panel.
- Host Permissions: Content scripts run on supported streaming domains (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Apple TV+) strictly to listen to and synchronize HTML5 video element play, pause, and seek events. No cookies, passwords, or personal page content are read or transmitted.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
Text chat is permanently deleted after 7 days. Parties automatically expire when empty. You may delete your account and associated profile data at any time directly in the extension Settings.
